WITNESS

I think we are really lucky to witness the election of the first black Presdent of the USA
I know this is the start of something amazing and like everyone else I have my fears of what's going to be, I mean, no president has ever had this amount of problems to deal with this amount of pressure. Just imagine that Halle Berry, who was the first Black woman to win an Oscar for best actress stood there crying, saying that this moment is much more bigger than her. I know Halle is just a simple beautiful women while Barack is one of the samrtest most orgnized well rounded people in the USA today.
All the people who went into the street, all the people who cried in front of their TVs, whites, blacks , arabs, hispanics or any other race. The great feeling we had, the million promises of CHANGE, what if it didn't happen? what if the next 4 years weren't such an improvment from the last eight. Possible, certainly, but at least for now, we have made the right choice

One thing we have to work is the exagerated mention of the words "first African American president" I think it is over used. Let me refer back to the Oscars, but when Denzel won his first Oscar ever for best actor, he said, maybe one day they will just say the name of the black actor who won the Oscar without mentioning his race
I hope that Barack Obama can lead us out of this mess and that we will rememeber him for a very very long time after he's out of the office. And I would like to thank him for instantly making America and Americans more respectable to the world
